Artifacts are special quality-of-life (QoL) items earned through Quests. As players complete these quests, they are rewarded with unique Artifacts that aid them in their journey.
Each Artifact possesses special effects and attributes exclusive to them, providing various benefits to the player. These effects can significantly enhance gameplay but do not function on regular equipmentβonly on Artifacts themselves.
Artifacts can be upgraded using Enchanted Lazurite Crystals, which improve their effectiveness by reducing their cooldown or increasing the frequency of their effects. However, upgrading comes at a cost:
Lazurite Crystals can be obtained by killing Monster Elites, any kind of monster elite can drop these crystals. You then have to find an NPC in Kazordoon who will exchange your Lazurite Crystals for Enchanted Lazurite Crystals.
They can also be obtained through dungeons, providing an alternative for those who prefer to farm instead of spending gold.
This system creates a money sink, balancing the in-game economy by offering players the choice between spending resources or grinding for their upgrades.
