Custom 7.4 Mechanics

Rivalia Online stays true to the classic Tibia 7.4 mechanics, ensuring an authentic gameplay experience. Below is a breakdown of key mechanics that differentiate Rivalia from modern adaptations.
In Rivalia, targeting functions exactly as it did in Tibia 7.4. Unlike modern iterations that introduce "aim assistance" features optimized for hotkey-based servers (such as Tibia 10.98 and later), Rivalia retains the original manual targeting system. Many servers overlook disabling this assistance when implementing classic mechanics, but we have carefully preserved the original targeting behavior.
Rivalia implements the traditional cooldown/exhaustion mechanics from Tibia 7.4, where aggressive and non-aggressive spells and runes share cooldowns in specific ways. Below is a detailed breakdown of how these interactions work:
Aggressive -> Aggressive Example: Sudden Death Rune (SD) β Explosion Rune
You must wait 2 seconds before casting another aggressive rune or spell.
Non-Aggressive -> Non-Aggressive Example: Mana Potion β Ultimate Healing Rune (UH)
A minimal and nearly unnoticeable exhaust time applies between non-aggressive actions.
Aggressive -> Non-Aggressive Example: Sudden Death Rune (SD) β Ultimate Healing Rune (UH)
A 2 second shared exhaust applies, requiring a short delay before you can heal after casting an aggressive spell.
Non-Aggressive -> Aggressive Example: Mana Potion β Sudden Death Rune (SD)
A small exhaust period applies, similar to non-aggressive actions.
